Dear Colleague,
I would like to invite you to the annual NHS Chief Executives Conference on Thursday 10th December at the QEII Conference Centre in London.
The conference comes at a critical time in our planning to meet the unprecedented quality and productivity facing the NHS for next year and in the years beyond.
This will be the forum where I give Chief Executives advanced briefing on the full details of the priorities and the financial and operating rules for next year that will be in the Operating Framework for 2010/11. It will also be where we, as Chief Executives, take collective responsibility for meeting the exceptional challenges we face in leading the system through this crucial phase in the history of the NHS.
I would ask every Chief Executive, therefore, to make all possible efforts to attend this short event, which I am sure you will agree is crucial in taking forward your organisations and health systems locally.
